Lay Eucharistic Ministers
Lay Eucharistic Ministers are church members who have been trained to administer the consecrated elements of the eucharist. They go from a Sunday Eucharist to share the sacrament with members of the congregation who were unable to be present at the celebration because of illness or infirmity. Please contact the church if you are in need of a Lay Eucharistic Minister.
Bring your family and friends for a night of inspiring music. Everyone is invited to our monthly Blues Vespers/Concerts, featuring local musicians and a variety of musical forms. They are typically held on the third Friday of each month at 7:30 pm. Check our calendar for our next event.
All are invited to join our Bible study as we experience the book of Acts together. We are reading A Journey Through Acts: The 50-Day Bible Challenge. At our meetings, we laugh and cry and share ways that the Bible helps us in times of celebration, loss, parenting, and more. This year, we are meeting on Thursday mornings at 9:00 am in the Parish Hall.
Yakima Pippins Games
Church members attend home Pippins games and sit as congregation to support our local baseball team and have fun at the ball park.
You don’t have to be on your own for Thanksgiving. Everyone pitches in to bring desserts and side dishes or helps with the turkey or ham to come together as a parish family and celebrate.
First Sunday Potluck
On the first Sunday the congregation shares a potluck lunch after the service.
The Altar Guild is a volunteer group of the parish whose ministry is to care for the altar, vestments, vessels, and altar linens of the parish. Altar Guild members prepare the sanctuary for services and coordinate the decoration of the sanctuary with flowers. St. Timothy’s Altar Guild meets on the first Thursday of each month at 11 am. Feel free to come to a meeting even if you’re just curious. We welcome new members and enjoy showing you what we do.
