Lent Madness
Play Lent Madness online and learn more than you probably ever wanted to know about some of our saints! Based on basketball’s March Madness, this popular Episcopal “Saintly Smackdown” is a lot of fun! You have a chance to vote for your favorite saint on a daily basis during Lent. The Rev. David Sibley, the new rector of St. Paul’s in Walla Walla, has long been a celebrity blogger. You can download a saintly bracket to keep track of which saints are advancing to the play-offs. Lenten Suppers
Continue the study of The Way of Love with Lenten Soup Suppers beginning March 14. They begin at 6:00 pm. Leadership of classes will be shared by Debbie Cornue, Wendy Walker and Mother Beth. On April 11, our Church School Students will lead us in Stations of the Cross. Be sure to join them for what will be an especially meaningful rendering of this classic walk that will take place in the church following the plaques denoting the Stations. Read more

Pancake Supper
Do your fair share of eating up the fat in St. Tim’s kitchen before the austerity of Ash Wednesday (March 6). Great food, burning of the palms (and prayers from the creche) and hiding the Alleluias are all part of the fun. The ash from the palms and prayers will be used to mark our foreheads the following day during the Distribution of Ashes. They remind us that we “are dust and to dust we shall return. Read more

Annual Parish Meeting
Our Annual Meeting will take place immediately following church on January 27th, with brunch to follow. Please plan to be present for this important event in the life of the parish. This is an exciting time in the life of St. Timothy’s, and we will be hearing about the state of the parish. We will also examine our by-laws and possibly make revisions. The Vestry will present the 2019 budget, and the nominating committee will present a slate of nominees for vestry positions from whom we will elect new members. Read more
