Holy Week Schedule Palm Sunday, April 14 at 9:00 am: Blessing and the Liturgy of the Palms begins in the parish hall; outdoor procession (weather permitting). Maundy Thursday, April 18 at 6:00 pm: Special music, poetry, scripture readings and Eucharist Candlelighted pot luck supper (Middle Eastern or Mediterranean foods suggested); Footwashing and traditional stripping of the altar. Ash Wednesday
You are invited to experience a Holy Lent beginning on Ash Wednesday, March 6. Ash Wednesday Service at. St. Timothy’s with St. Michael’s at 6:00 pm. Earlier in the day, “Ashes to Go” will take place at St. Michael’s around 1:00 pm and at various locations downtown afterward. If you are interested in being a part of the distribution team, let Mo. B. know. Lay people are encouraged in this ministry of making the sign of the cross with ash on people’s foreheads, reminding them that they “are dust and to dust they shall return. Read more

Based on basketball’s March Madness, this popular Episcopal “Saintly Smackdown” is a lot of fun! You have a chance to vote for your favorite saint on a daily basis during Lent. The Rev. David Sibley, the new rector of St. Paul’s in Walla Walla, has long been a celebrity blogger. You can download a saintly bracket to keep track of which saints are advancing to the play-offs. Lenten Suppers
Continue the study of The Way of Love with Lenten Soup Suppers beginning March 14. They begin at 6:00 pm. Leadership of classes will be shared by Debbie Cornue, Wendy Walker and Mother Beth. On April 11, our Church School Students will lead us in Stations of the Cross. Be sure to join them for what will be an especially meaningful rendering of this classic walk that will take place in the church following the plaques denoting the Stations. Read more

Pancake Supper
Do your fair share of eating up the fat in St. Tim’s kitchen before the austerity of Ash Wednesday (March 6). Great food, burning of the palms (and prayers from the creche) and hiding the Alleluias are all part of the fun. The ash from the palms and prayers will be used to mark our foreheads the following day during the Distribution of Ashes. They remind us that we “are dust and to dust we shall return. Read more
